Candeedo Brewdinkle

Candeedo a retired spy only wants to live the rest of his retirement in Killian Cove doing puzzles and spending time with Bartholomew.
Life has other plans as he stumbles at the beginning of the series upon a dead body at the local bookstore. To make matters worse next to the body is the book he was going to buy face down. Missing is the bookmark and the owner, Norman.

Candeedo and Bartholomew must solve the mystery if they expect things to go back to normal.

Bartholomew

Candeedo’s companion, Bartholomew a Spynhx has a mind of his own and makes sure to remind Candeedo every day that he is actually the boss.

Most of the time Candeedo ignores him unless he starts to “sing” loudly in which case no one can escape the piercing sounds.
